Anyone watch it?

Like the new team so far. Mo's a bit of a dish wink

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:17:46

I love this programme. I'm missing the old team but I'm sure I'll grow to love the new one!

ouryve Thu 30-Oct-14 22:19:12

Yep I love this. Had a bit of dust or something in my eye, watching this one, mind.

fairgame Thu 30-Oct-14 22:19:49

I love this. I used to work in A&E so it brings back lots of fond memories for me.

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:22:53

The way those grandparents talk about Kerry just makes me want to sob.

Sunnyshine Thu 30-Oct-14 22:23:06

Love it! Missing the say it as it was nurse from the other hospital;

deadwitchproject Thu 30-Oct-14 22:23:11

I really enjoyed watching this just now, especially hearing how Luke's parents feel about him. Agree Mo's a bit of a dish (had a lump in my throat when he spoke about his father).

MorelliOrRanger Thu 30-Oct-14 22:25:12

Yes I miss the old team, especially Jen. Loved her no nonsense attitude.

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:27:14

I'm currently struggling with dd's mental health and autism and I'm jealous of parents that have "normal" kids too. I love Luke's dad for saying that, I've never heard anyone say that out loud!

MorelliOrRanger Thu 30-Oct-14 22:28:16

Me too deadwitch. My dad had a stroke a couple of years ago, so could empathise with him.

MorelliOrRanger Thu 30-Oct-14 22:32:07

They were a lovely couple. There is nothing wrong with feeling like that thornrose. I'm sure its not uncommon, but like you not often freely admitted.

Anyone else get a bit freaked out seeing the leg in the bah. Poor girl.

MorelliOrRanger Thu 30-Oct-14 22:33:14

# like you say

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:35:43

Oh dear, the girl with the needle in her foot is a little annoying. I wish she could see the girl that has actually lost her leg!

chockbic Thu 30-Oct-14 22:36:26

The grandad was so proud of motorbike girl. Fair brought a lump to the throat.

ouryve Thu 30-Oct-14 22:36:57

I'll miss Jen. I had a bit of a girl crush on her.

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:37:15

Thanks Morelli.

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:38:58

Oh god I miss Jen, she was amazing, yes to the girl crush.

ouryve Thu 30-Oct-14 22:39:40

Thornrose - I felt sorry for her - she was obviously quite emotionally fragile and her mother did nothing to calm her down. She was clearly worried that she might lose her leg, or something.

MorelliOrRanger Thu 30-Oct-14 22:45:06

I agree about Tina being slightly annoying, she was so worried about everything wasn't she?.

Lol to girl crush on Jen. I totally agree.

Muddlewitch Thu 30-Oct-14 22:45:44

Really glad this is back on, loved the grandparents.

Deadwitch I know how you feel. I used to read all the literature on children with ASD etc full of quotes from parents saying they wouldn't want their children to be any other way and think "I would. If there was a switch to turn it off I would switch it without hesitation." I still feel that way and I believe so do many others it is just not spoken about. Having said that, we are further down the line now with much better support and things are so much better, hang in there.

outtolunchagain Thu 30-Oct-14 22:47:04

Thorn rose I thought that too about the Dad

thornrose Thu 30-Oct-14 22:49:34

Yes you're right ourvye I think it was just watching her alongside the real trauma patient that made me lose patience a bit. I'm usually more understanding. blush

scousadelic Thu 30-Oct-14 22:52:07

There were some lovely and positive patients and families on there tonight, even grumpy Tina warmed up after a bit.

I too am missing Sister Jen, another girl crush here

GoodArvo Thu 30-Oct-14 23:54:40

I only watched this because I know someone who works there. I was shocked to see Luke appear on the show, because he lives a few doors from me and I know the parents. It was interesting to hear them talk about him.
