yes! i saw some photos of them filming it a couple of months ago. i'm not really one to get 'into' a series but the characters are fab aren't they? have enjoyed snuggling down on the sofa with a glass of wine and the christmas tree lights twinkling and last tango. i wonder how things will develop?!

I'm so excited love dean Andrews as an actor hope he gets a larger part. I'm a big fan of sally wainwright work and nick savage unsure what his name is in real life but from Scott and Bailey is a potential new love interest for Gillian

It's always been on a Tuesday is previous years but the missing begins tomorrow and is on for 8 weeks does this mean its going to be on after Xmas ? I hope not ! Filming finished on 10th October though

oh I hope it is on before Christmas. maybe on bbc 2 although I cant see that happening since it's so popular. will just have to wait and see... (impatient!!)

I remember it began about 22nd Dec last year. I am due with DC2 around then so may have to set it up to record in case am in hospital...or maybe if we get together to discuss it on here the thread can double up as a live birth thread!

ooh excellent - a live birth thread and last tango in halifax!! I thought the last episode of the last series was christmas eve? i think they showed it on 2 consequetive nights on christmas week (seem to remember weeping into the presents as i wrapped them)
