Fellow Homelanders - there is a Season 4 trailer!

Here. At one point Quinn appears to be either hugging or killing Salieri - apart from that it tells you very little. But still - Homeland!!!

I reckon (based on nothing except slowly building hype and last year's timings) that we're looking at late September/early October. Can we cope in a world without Brody?

Ooh. Interested to see what season 4 will be like without the Carrie/Brody relationship.

Hurrah - a fellow fan!

The Carrie/Brody thing was starting to wind me right up so I think a move in a new direction will be a good thing. And don't forget we'll have the Spirit of Brody once Baby Brody arrives - and BB will doubtless arrive in some tense nightmarish hostage type situation involving gunshots and rockets.

How exciting. Saul is still a baddie, I wont be moved from this theory

Saul is GOOD. Next you'll be telling me Father Christmas isn't real Angry.

Oh BOF, BOF, BOF, how long are you all going be fooled by him?

I think the whole thing should have ended with Brody's death.

Wasn't the whole point supposed to have been whether or not he was a terrorist?

Five posts in, BOF. Good going.

There is a date! 5th October US so I reckon 12th October for us. Halloween will be in the air, there will be a shedload of Christmas threads, the nights will be dark again, Last Night of the Proms will have happened.

Trailer.

And Coco, I'll have you know that Saul is So Damn Good that people are starting to use the word "saul" to mean all that is right with the world. Rainbows and kittens are saul now. Gin and tonic is saul.

Thanks for the headsup, Hassled. Saul rocks!

That's great. I love homeland.
Wasn't the baby already born at the end of the last series?
I thought I saw carrie's dad with her baby.
I also think the actor who played her dad passed away recently.

Wonder if Carrie's dad will also 'die' seeing as the actor sadly died a short while back. Might mean her sister will be more prominent in her help/support when baby brody arrives.

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 19/07/2014 13:01

Did she have the baby? I don't remember that bit.

coffeeinbed · 19/07/2014 13:02

I thought she had the baby last season.

Quin was definitely killing Salieri.

Hassled · 19/07/2014 13:05

Oh blimey she did have the baby, didn't she? My memory is shit. But yes, I'm sure we saw Nice Dad holding him/her.

Did you see Zaff from Spooks in it? I luffs him.

WookieCookiee · 19/07/2014 13:13

Isn't her dad/sister brining up the baby whilst she heads up operations in Istanbul (or am I thinking of something entirely different)?

Report
WookieCookiee · 19/07/2014 13:13

Brining?! Clearly I mean bringing!

Report
ihatethecold · 19/07/2014 15:47

Nice! Brined baby.

Yay, Homeland is coming back. I know I said I wasn't going to bother... I lied.

I need to watch and support Coco in the Saul is dodgy corner Grin

I can't make up my mind.

But, I've watched an old Death in Paradise episode last week and there she was, Mrs Saul - at least the actress - and dodgy she was, again!

As much as I loved it I really think it should've ended after the second season. The viewing figures where way down last season.

Are we getting excited yet? Can we cope with the pressure?

Here's a little video about Saint Saul the Good to warm the cockles of your hearts.

I'm back with a handy one-minute refresher - which strangely manages to make the last season seem considerably less exciting than I'm sure it was. There was way more to it, surely?
