Corrie - Leanne's Mac

Why does Leanne wear that mac all the time - come rain or shine and always buttoned up to the neck, ala Dot Cotton Style?

It makes her look about a 100!

Maria, on the the other hand, even though a bit of a psycho, seems to pull off the mac look quite well! (probably because she wears it loose.)

Its her spring coat. In winter she has that awful red wool thingy on all the time. Always buttoned up like she is on military parade.

I was only thinking the other day how awful that mac is. I have a similar colour mac but different style and I have to confess I've been avoiding wearing it because I'm worried it looks as dreadful as hers? I think in general they gave her pegged as just a bit out of style now, tries hard but just looks a bit mumsy.

I think the winter coat is purple/maroon again very popular a few years ago now looks a bit dated.

Its the buttoned up 'military style' way she has of wearing it! Even the belt is done up precisely.
Somebody should burn it (the mac, not Leanne )

I can't remember the red wooly thing. Fortunately, I missed that horror.

I noticed she was also wearing a big scarf wrapped around her last night like it was as cold as November. Maybe I missed something, was she covering up a hickey from her gym bunny?!
