I think Simona stands a really good chance of beating Shrieky. Shrieky has had a couple of houdini matches- Halep has been much more consistent.

I remember trying to do that with the balls last year. Once you've pressed post they are never even. I have a great deal of respect for whichever poster always makes pictures out of smilies. I can't even manage two lines of tennis balls.

Now Bouchard is out I don't care who wins the women's as long as it's not Shrieky.

Never mind trixy, you missed Shrieky making lots of noise, doing that annoying clenched fist thing when she walks around, and lots of fawning from the commentators. Just don't miss tomorrow's tennis though :)

Matts Wilander apparently thinks Gulbis can win the whole tournament. Not sure about that myself. If he plays out of his skin tomorrow and has lots of crowd support (which Djok won't like) he might pull through. Can't see it really though. And I definitely don't see him winning against Rafa (who will win v Andy I'm sure). What do you folks think?

I'd love Gulbis to win, but agree he's not going to beat Djok. As much as I'd love him to, I don't think Murray will beat Nadal tomorrow either.

So odds on then for a Rafa/Nole final - which is pretty much what we expected all along I think?

Just read that Ernie's coach thinks that he (Ernie) has no chance v Djok, and that he thinks Djok will win the title. With friends like that ... :)

Obviously, I've been pro- Rafa from the start, and it is right that it should be Djokovic against him in the final. if anyone deserves to take Rafa's title, it is Djok. But I expect a fight.

But I want Gulbis to give him a run for his money- it's about time the 'youngsters' proved themselves, and now he has decided he wants to win, he might give it a good go. But Gulbis has always been unpredictable, so we will see who turns up on the day.

I don't think Murray will win against Rafa. His matches against Kohlshreiber and Verdasco showed he is better on clay than he has ever been- but god knows what he was doing against Monfils. They were both playing games- and it wasn't exactly tennis. The scoreline was just ridiculous.

Of course, the commentary team are still trying to make something of Rafa's comment on his back. I think it is wishful thinking.

I'm back at work tomorrow, so the Sky+ box will be earning its keep again.

I'm expecting a Rafa/Djok final, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

I am gutted to be missing what is going on - at 3pm today I will be in a spa giving a treatment :( Its heartbreaking - not going to be home till 5pm. I didn't get home till 6 last night and missed everything - I was up to ears in hot stones and Indian Head treatments..... Right, this match seems to have started earlier than I thought it would. And isn't going to plan- gulbis needs to fight back, or at this rate, both matches will be over before I get home!!
