I did. I loved it except for Katherine Jenkins, she didn't work for me in that role at all. Her eyelashes should probably have had separate casting.

I enjoyed the Peter Blake programme before it as well. We saw the exhibition and it's wonderful.

I completely agree, I don't like her at ALL and she stuck out like a sore thumb. I was mesmerised by her eye lashes - extensions surely?

I haven't watched the other programme yet but I will.

Extensions, for sure. I thought Charlotte Church was really good and didn't expect to like her. All the other casting I was happy with, given that no one comes close to Richard Burton for the narrator.

Loved Tom Jones.

She was great and she's another one who normally makes my toes curl, and not in a good way!

Tom was fab Grin

The only sea I saw Was the seesaw sea with you riding on it. Lie down, lie easy. Let me shipwreck in your thighs.

I watched it a few weeks ago (it was originally shown on BBC Wales). And then I watched it again with dh on iplayer as he'd missed it.

It is brilliant! Absolutely mesmerising. So many familiar faces (perhaps less so if you don't live in Wales / watch BBC Wales/S4C programmes much). It really brought the whole thing alive for me.

Thought Tom Jones was fab, and Charlotte Church. Loved Kimberley Nixon and Ioan Gruffudd, and even Katherine Jenkins who I loathe beyond belief didn't annoy me as much as she normally does.

Oh, and loved Mr & Mrs Pugh.

Just fab!

Can you tell I enjoyed it!?! Grin

I've watched it about 10 times since it was on BBC Wales. I loved it. Tim jones and Rosie probert made me cry, and Jo NEVER cry

We have recorded it. I have tried to read it but gave up, so I will keep an open mind.

It's sooo much better to watch / listen to than to read - it is a "play for voices" after all.

Hello,
Does anyone have a recording of Under Milk Wood with Tom Jones? I missed the program and would love to watch it. Will pay for it.
Many thanks.
