It's on iTunes. I think the first and second series together were about a tenner.

I watched 'Sherlock' series 1 from this website,

www.watch-tvseries.net/series245/Sherlock/

There ARE pop-ups that appear, mostly ads, but if you keep closing them the programme will play. Lots of other great series available too. Very occasionally the link may be broken but I find if you google the exact series and episode there are usually a few links to be found online.

Ooh, one other thing......only click the 'play' button that shows within the programme window, the other apparent 'plays' or 'downloads' are just ads that you don't need. Be patient though, can take up to 30 seconds for playback to begin after clicking.
If you scroll down you'll see that all episodes from all 3 series are there, I just checked. And it's all free, did I mention that? You're not downloading, only viewing.
Happy Sherlock-ing! Smile

HMV did have a Series 1 and 2 box set for ÂŁ10. I know you probably don't want series 2, but it seemed like a good buy to me.

I watch Amazon via our blu-ray player, or you could use an internet enabled games console such as Wii/Playstation/xbox.

No, ignore ANY pop ups that ask for registration, they are ads! And you certainly do not need to give any credit card details I promise. I never have.
Like I said in my earlier post, close any pop ups that occur, watch the tabs at the top of your screen and close any that show in addition to the main programme screen. There can be a good few initially, but you will get past them. Then click on the play button that occurs within the window with the still-shot of the programme.
The link definitely works bemused, I watched Sherlock series 2 myself last night using it, couldn't resist after reading your thread.

I've been watching them on Veoh. No pop ups etc, pretty good quality. Can't link from my tablet, but just Google veoh sherlock season 1.

Just to be clear bemused , the play button does not say 'watch now', 'play now' or 'download'. It is a wee white triangle symbol, like you find ona remote control or DVD player. The other 'buttons' will only take you to sites that ask for registration or are full of ads for betting etc. The symbol sits right on top of the ready to play video and disappears when it begins to play.

Hope this helps, if you can get it sorted this site a gem of a find, I've caught up with so many series I've missed, including Downton Abbey and The Good Wife. Not once have I ever parted with card details......I wouldn't do that, I'm a big feartie! Wink

It's on American Netflix which you can get via a wii or something like that, also available via prime which you can watch on your pc or windows laptop. You can watch prime on an ipad, just not on an android tablet 'cos they are stupido.
