MrsBennetsEldest Sun 22-Sep-13 09:11:36

I shall be making a tray of lovely things to snack on and have gin next to me . So looking forward to tonight .

TheGirlFromIpanema Sun 22-Sep-13 09:14:36

omri Sun 22-Sep-13 09:20:18

Just to confirm- it starts tonight right?

MorrisZapp Sun 22-Sep-13 09:21:32

Aye, there's a mini spoiler in the RT

CMP69 Sun 22-Sep-13 11:16:16

Yes tonight ITV1 9pm, but I will have to watch it tomorrow as DH would commit suicide if I subjected him to it sad

Ladytron Sun 22-Sep-13 11:20:58

Yes all ready with the tissues here too.

EhricLovesTeamQhuay Sun 22-Sep-13 11:55:42

Crutchlow35 Sun 22-Sep-13 12:36:16

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius Sun 22-Sep-13 12:53:03

It is on series link and I can't wait!!

Inthebeginning Sun 22-Sep-13 12:57:05

I was just saying to dh that I actually have butterflies in my tummy I am that excited. He on the other hand looks in pain at the thought of it!

bizziebee Sun 22-Sep-13 13:19:18

Been watching in on catch-up tv to try and get up to speed before tonight. Still bit traumatised by the end of the last episode. Not sure I have forgiven Julian Fellowes

wannabedomesticgoddess Sun 22-Sep-13 13:33:08

It wasn't JFs fault. Dan Stevens decided to leave.

Very excited for tonight.

CMP69 Sun 22-Sep-13 13:53:52

Mary is going to be a real merry widow grin Apparently she has a fling with Branson angry

FreyaFridays Sun 22-Sep-13 16:40:22

Nobody is going to be allowed to have children whilst living at Downton Abbey anymore, as it is surely a death sentence for one of the parents.

SirChenjin Sun 22-Sep-13 16:42:46

Ooooh - it starts tonight??!

Mary is so going to end up with Branson. My prediction is that it will be a will they/won't they thing for ages.

SirChenjin Sun 22-Sep-13 16:43:22

Oh - have just seen CMPs post blush

Thewhingingdefective Sun 22-Sep-13 16:47:27

I was never a lover of period type drama and didn't watch Downton when it was first on telly, but for some reason I bought all the series on my iPad and loved it. I can't wait for tonight, although I have got quite used to watching it by myself, so will be annoyed if Mr Whinging makes any comments.

Thewhingingdefective Sun 22-Sep-13 16:48:21

Mary and Branson... Woah!

SirChenjin Sun 22-Sep-13 17:10:50

You mark my words - it will be DA's equivalent of Ross and Rachel <nods sagely>

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams Sun 22-Sep-13 18:21:27

I'm in.

I want Edith to be interesting and happy with her newspaper man this series. I actually cried when she was jilted blush

Loupee Sun 22-Sep-13 18:52:25

Excited here as well, but will be recording it as going round a friends, plus my viewing won't be slowed down by pesky adverts.
Not sure how I feel about Mary and Branson.

fussychica Sun 22-Sep-13 19:06:23

Agree with Loupee recording as an hours viewing plus 30 mins of adverts would drive me insane - going to a pub quiz anyway.
Not sure how I feel about watching it now though.

NuggetofPurestGreen Sun 22-Sep-13 19:54:59

CMP tell your husband look at something else! you don't want to get spoilered grin
