Just watching "cheer perfection" on channel 125 on sky. The parents are just awful. They make me feel quite nauseous. The way they push their children and speak to each other.

I'm just watching it, and totally agree. Those mums are vile!

And what's with the girl called Torran? Her mum said the name is a mix of hers and her husbands (which it technically is) but just sounds like Torrance, who is the head cheerleader in 'Bring It On'

I love this show. Yes I agree the way the parents act towards each other is dreadful but it makes fantastic tv!!

The head has asked me to start a cheerleading club at school. I am not trained in anyway to do anything like they do in that program the head is thinking more pompoms and 'go team go'.

it's american, everything sporty has to be competitive there. i love the programme myself, though i think the parents push their kids a little too hard

i do wonder where (and why!) it's legal to own a monkey Confused

Grin don't start me on that monkey!! My oldest girls watch the show with me and now want a monkey and to cheerlead. Hmm

I love that show, but agree the parents are awful, Ann the mother of Torran is the biggest bitch in the world, and Bonnie is just odd, i like how she stands up to Ann but seriously the lady needs a make over!!

I watched it the other day. That woman Ann is a horrible person - did you see her making fun of the girl that has a spinal fracture? Really awful!

Oh, it's amazing TV. Ann is a total bastard, but I think I hate her stupid henchwoman Andrea more!

I love this programme. I agree re Andrea - I think she's a lot more malicious than Ann, and that's saying something. Ann is totally ridiculous though. She seems to be stuck in a time warp and is still behaving like a pouting, sulky, bitchy 'mean girl' even though she must have left school about thirty years ago.

I love it so much that I watched the entire series, couldn't wait for it to air! New series starts at end of the month!

How did you watch it all dancemom? I'd like to do the same but not found anywhere that I can!

I have to disagree about Andrea, I quite like her. es she does some of Ann's dirty work so to speak but it was minr stuff and as Andrea herself said 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer' Grin

She's always winding Ann up and then standing well back when the shit hits the fan acting all innocent and 'oh dear, I hope I haven't upset anyone'.
At least Ann's nastiness is upfront and open Grin

I still love Andrea Grin
A lot of the drama is created for the show, although Ann is definitely a real life bitch from what I've seen and heard!

There's no doubt Ann's a nasty piece of work but I think a lot of her behaviour is down to stupidity and ignorance. Andrea just enjoys stirring the shit and then watching the fall out. I've worked with people like that: never involved in any of the crap but responsible for a lot of it.
