Just seen on bbc news sports report. theyre interviewing some runners, straight after they won, and the poor things are out of breath and cant BREATH, never mind talk!

and Andy Murray after last years Wimbledon, was tired and far too emotional to talk Sad.

and when the players just come off the court. ffs, theyve JUST finished a match, not going through the stats of the match, they want to have a shower and regroup, and theyre sweating away, and cant think straight to answer questions!

why?

Because once they leave to go to the changing rooms they can't be sure of getting hold of them because they're having a celebratory or consolation shag in the shower and an interview is probably more intrusive once you've started to wind own, than upon the still-adrenaline-fuelled immediate aftermath.

You might get them back several hours later, or next day (if tHT doesn't cut into next match prep). Though of course that might no be a great it with TV schedules.
