So,after a week off sampling the delights off European muzak, (the love/pain/spain shoe bloke was robbed)grin- the Voice is back, for the last shouting battle rounds.
Cheese-earplugs at the ready, wrap dresses and pleather optional.

And it's early again, just to confuse us.
It's on for OVER TWO HOURS!

Are we ready??

SuePurblybilt Sat 25-May-13 17:06:15

He was so my choice too. One shoe is LUFF, one shoe in SPAIN. I've left a shoe on a beach in Spain before. I feel his pain.

TWO hours. Blimes.

I stupidly agreed to a barbecue- which doesn't appear to be working. I hope they will have all eaten by 7.

I have matchsticks to prop open my eyelids,if it starts to drag.grin

SuePurblybilt Sat 25-May-13 17:13:25

They'd better have. I am sending Small to bed early. Damn BBC and no ad breaks.

Wolfcub Sat 25-May-13 17:14:47

checking in

NoelHeadbands Sat 25-May-13 17:20:12

Oi oi saveloy!

Will hopefully be here, no small people this weekend so husband and I keep making doubtful and unconvincing noises about 'going out' and 'making the most' and 'doing something'

Is The Bof doing the flash mob thingy today?

Raahh Sat 25-May-13 17:20:28

Dh thinks there is football on tonight. Not on this tv, it's notgrin

Well- I need to rescue some burgers. Back later!

Raahh Sat 25-May-13 17:22:10

The flash mob thing! I forgot about that. Haven't seen the Granada news yet, so don't know if there were any arrests for dodgy behaviour in central Liverpoolgrin

SO excited for The Voice. If only they got rid of Will-I-am and got Celine Dion instead

SuePurblybilt Sat 25-May-13 17:24:38

She said yesterday she was planning on it, on the FAs

wtf Celine Dion? <gawps>

HoveringKestrel Sat 25-May-13 17:32:22

Haha Celine dion has the best voice I've ever heard (in my own opinion, not to everyones taste)
But then I dont like any of will-I-am's songs.

SuePurblybilt Sat 25-May-13 17:36:16

He's not there for the singing. He's there to spout rubbish and wear oddhipster clothes. If I had to look at Celine AND JessieJ for two hours, I fear no prison in the world could hold me.
I bet she would sing. You can't stop JJ singing either. The only saving grace would be the inevitable cat fight for the microphone.

cocolepew Sat 25-May-13 18:31:14

Are you bonkers woman? Our Wullie is the best thing about the stupid show.

DH is making huffy noises about some football shite being on at the same time.Good job he knows where the record button is then.

Raahh Sat 25-May-13 18:39:25

Food-eaten. I might clear up tomorrow later.
Celine Dion ??shock

Hell, no. But JJ and CD in a battle situation would be funny- they would try to out warble/emote each other. Plus, I imagine she would take it all way too seriously. She'd be able to give Stoma a run for his money in 'people wot I have sung with' anecdotes, I'll bet.

I love because he is funny, and mad as a box of non-Canadian frogs. grin.

Raahh Sat 25-May-13 18:40:52

coco- that's what Dh suggested I do ! shock. Record it?? no chance. I will have to LTBgrin

cocolepew Sat 25-May-13 18:43:12

I have a big bag of Minstrels but have nearly finished them and some cheap Mexican beer that DH appeared with last night.
I have a feeling it fell of the back of a lorry hmm

cocolepew Sat 25-May-13 18:43:59

Is he mad? Does he not understand the importance of this?

cocolepew Sat 25-May-13 18:45:32

Im on the mobile site and the text in te reply box is huuugggee for some reason so I might make even less sense than ever before I can't see what I have written without scrolling back up again.

Saturday night is my tv night and every other night .

He is resigned to watching on his pc, with headphones.

I am still off the booze. But it is such a nice night, I really wish I had some wine

Yama Sat 25-May-13 18:49:22

Well, firstly - it was Hungary wot was robbed.

Secondly ... well, there is no secondly as firstly was so important.

SuePurblybilt Sat 25-May-13 18:49:41

I will find some chocolate. Despite my diet. I fear I will need it. Two hours + of O'Dodgems et al would try anyone to binge-point.

SuePurblybilt Sat 25-May-13 18:49:57

Which one was Hungary?

MelanieCheeks Sat 25-May-13 18:52:13 it!

He's my favourite judge because he's a producer, knows the biz, wot's cool hip'n'trendy these days. What's the point in having a mentor who's "just" a good singer?

cocolepew Sat 25-May-13 18:53:02

I'm starting the 5:2 diet on monday, you probably won't recognise me next week.

Yama Sat 25-May-13 18:53:10

Young chap with a wooley hat on singing something like 'goi cappichan, goi cappichan'.

He was a philosophising tatto artist.
