Does anybody watch Suits on Dave?

...because I have very little idea what went on this week. I watched it last night but obviously wasn't paying enough attention because I haven't a clue what was going on now and I have deleted it off Sky+ too. Confused

Please don't tell me I am the only one who watches it.

Aha! There is another viewer! Hooray.

Tell your DH thank you. I sort of got most of that but I am not quite sure how Harvey fell out Jessica or how I missed the bit about Hardman losing the 45 cases. Confused

Whoops, just looked at Wikipedia and it looks like last week was the last one.

I should have thought of looking at Wikipedia sooner but at least I now know there is another viewer out there. Grin

Cross post there.

It is good to know that there are others out there watching but I hope we aren't the only ones or Dave might not buy it again for the next series. Shock

So do you not even like it for the eye candy BeerTricks?

That was where I slipped up. It tried to do both Suits and MN. I save it for Saturday night as an antidote to Match of the Day.

I like it because there is no shooting, no murder investigations, no car chases, no sport and no aliens, vampires or fantasy worlds. Just plain old battle of wits with a healthy dose of double crossing and back stabbing. Grin

Thanks to your and your DH for your help.

I love suits but haven't caught up with the last few episodes so I've bypassed all the replies.

Just to say you can get back deleted programmes off your sky box. Just go to planner then scroll left and you see recent deleted thing. HTH

I love suits, it's definitely a must-not-miss in our house. Got to confess I don't always understand the legal shenanigans though, it's more the characters. I like that Harvey is the slick boss lawyer but still a nice guy, normally he'd be the cliche nasty piece of work. Same for Jessica really although she's a bit more ruthless I think. I love the way Donna always knows everything Grin.

They haven't lost the 45 sex discrimination cases! Heres what happened:

  • Jessica wants to merge with English firm
  • Harvey doesn't like the plan as he will be less likely to become a 'named partner' and will have to work alongside dodgy ex, Scottie, who helped engineer the merger talks
  • Harvey takes on some new cases that will put him in direct opposition to English firm, then makes a bet with English guy... If Harvey wins, no merger
  • Jesssica furious with Harvey for insubordination
  • some legal to-ing and fro-ing and anti-English comments later, Scottie (who's feeling guilty) gives Mike the evidence Harvey needs to win the cases and prevent the merger
  • Jessica tells Mike that if presents the evidence, she'll tell the DA he's not a real lawyer
  • Harvey therefore loses the case and the merger goes ahead
  • Harvey furious with everyone, although does try to stop Scottie being fired
  • the 45 sex discrimination cases are ongoing.

Meanwhile...
Rachel discovers she didn't get into Harvard just because she wasn't good enough. She keeps banging on to Mike about it and asks him what Harvard was like. Mike (who's had a bad week, to be fair) finally snaps and tells her he didn't go. Rachel slaps him three times then they shag in the filing room.

Phew. I possibly pay too much attention to this show.

Yay! More viewers. I don't feel so alone now.

Thank you for the synopsis Toptack. I think I got about 80% of it but was fuzzy on the Harvey merger bet thing.

And what was that sex scene all about? I am not sure why Rachel slapped Mike either. Was it because she thought he was lying to make her feel better or because she believed him. Confused

She irritates me I have to say. Blush

Lewis just needs the love of a good woman. He is a seething mass of insecurities if you ask me, and it doesn't bring out the best in him. His teeth are an issue though, I do agree. Not entirely sure what his bet with the English bloke was all about - where did he pop up from? (I really should pay more attention) It had hints of man love going on too, imo.

Roll on January I say.

Lewis is an odd one. Every time you're thinking what a total weasly scumbag he is and he looks like a rodent, possibly a hamster he goes and sticks up for someone or goes all teary and choked up over his dead cat. You are right, he is crying out for love, but he always ends up stabbing friends in the back. He can't help himself.
