Hang on, hang on. If someone was shot dead, SURELY they'd have removed the bullets from the body at a postmortem. Wouldn't they? It seemed very bizarre that they had to exhume JR's body to get the bullets??

And, really, would Bobby go along with framing someone for murder, when he had nothing to do with it at all?

It's really so sad seeing them all cry for real when they're talking about JR Sad

I thought that! They would done a post mortem when they first recovered his body! And the old Bobby would never have let the wrong person go to prison, even Cliff! How come Cliff is really evil and organising "hits" these days, the old Cliff was a bit dopey and the underdog! We are talking Dallas though, totally barmy but I have loved it! I do think they should have left this series as the last though, tied up loose ends and left it there. Not the same without JR! I'll be watching next year though , I'm sure!

I was delighted when the voiceover said it'll be back next year - cos there were rumblings that channel 5 were going to drop it

Ah no. I have not seen it yet. Can you report your thread and ask them to put spoiler on the title?

But it's not a spoiler if it's already been on tv! It's only a spoiler if you've given away something that has only been seen online

I am so gutted it's not back until next year Sad. Yes it's all completely OTT but I love it anyway Smile.

I always have to tell myself to suspend disbelief at the start of each episode, otherwise DH and I would spend the whole hour saying 'that wouldn't happen..'. Yes the JR bullet thing was a bit ridiculous, but no more ridiculous than just about everything that ever happens in Dallas - ie Miss Ellis leaving John Ross half of Southfork in her will 20 years after she's died? Confused And how Cliff has suddenly turned into some big-shot Don when he actually used to just be a slightly daft drunk man....

I will miss it though - and I hope when it comes back it's on a bit earlier...
