As my name suggests, I am a Ben & Holly fan, I like Mrs Elf but Nanny Plum is my fav. Is she the best? Any other contenders out there??

Oh I've just remembered how much I loved the Wonder Pets when mine used to watch them.

Dora the Explorer is a PITA.Always bloody repeating stuff.

Shirley the Sheep

Best of all
Brian the Snail (Magic Roundabout for youngsters)

Annoying - Tracy Beaker for not getting adopted after one series.

Actually, the character that has stayed with me the longest is Supergran.

IamMrsElf Fri 03-May-13 19:23:14

OMG! Super Gran - I vaguely remember watching that on Saturday night before Bullseye. Off to google it now...

Teddy Ruckspin - he was so cute and loved his little adventures. Which also reminds me of the Gummy Bears - bouncing here and there and everywhere... there are so many good ones!!

Also Waybaloo sucks balls

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood Fri 03-May-13 22:26:58

Jamie ... Jamie..... Jamie and the magic torch... has to be one of the best

AnneEyhtMeyer Fri 03-May-13 22:28:25

Mrs Popoff from Rentaghost.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood Fri 03-May-13 22:30:10

stop it and tidy up was fun to watch whilst I was doing my GCSE's

PelvicFloorClenchReminder Fri 03-May-13 22:32:40

Dobbin the fine steed from Rentaghost, tied in first place with Idris the dragon from Ivor the Engine.

Honourable mention goes to Professor Yaffle from Bagpuss, with a very special mention for Dick from the famous five.

Nanny Plum is a fucking legend.

That woman from 'Come Outside' is vile. Especially the shit episode.

Without a shadow of a doubt it is Shaun the Sheep. All my adult friends adore him.

Sweep is ace, really mischievous, Soo is quite a boring goody-goody. Roland from Grange Hill, Max from the Tweenies - a big kid at heart who loved a nap whilst looking after children. Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, Grommit - obviously the brains of the house, Dr. Bob and Beaker from the Muppets.

From my own childhood - Bagpuss, Mr Ben and the Flumps, especially Pootle.

From DD's - Slugsy & Primrose from Fifi and the Flower Tots, Daddy Pig and Charlie & Lola.

DH's fave would be Snoopy - we used to collect Peanuts memorabilia and have as 4ft tall one in the loft!grin

I'm with you OP. As soon as I saw the thread title I thought Nanny Plum. We're going to see Ben & Holly on stage in a few weeks, I can't wait, er, I mean DS is very exited about it. I know the actors won't be the same people who do the character voices, but still.

Worst current is dull, patronising Driver Dan.

From way back when, Bagpuss was the best.
