It was brilliant .
I wanted Parsnip to rip out Alices throat Blush.
I found it odd that they spoke to the bears like you would to a dog, when they thought they were in danger. Do bears understand tones of voices if they haven't had human contact?

Amazing, quite stressful to watch at times as well when you think the cubs are going to be attacked. On the edge of my seat at times. The best thing I've seen on telly for a while.

I loved it. Ds and I have watched it together tonight.
Loved it when Van buried the seal as the tide came in.

The film makers were incredibly brave..so close to the bears.

It has put me off eating salmon.

I was surprised that males are so anxious to mate but don't care whether cubs survive or not.
They must just be in it for the shag Sad

Yes, salmon are definitely uglier than I though.
And the eggs

Watched it with DS (5) . He kept saying "that's Fergus". I was correcting him "no, that's Alice" when I realised he meant the voiceover. He recognised Billy Connolly's voice from the film Brave! So he was convinced the female with 3 cubs was Elinor! Ha!

Wonderful programme. DH and I have been glued to our seats.

Thank god Parsnip sorted out her mothering skills. Such drama! And the filming was beautiful. It was really interesting to see the "behind he scenes" stuff too.

What a lovely programme this was. I was quite edgy watching it in case anything bad happened to 'our ' bears. Nearly cried when the three hungry little bears finally got a fish dinner!

Canny, clever, patient, hard-working mother bears... shiftless greedy selfish fighty males.... I felt they could do with a good AnyFucker talking-to Grin

I wasn't going to mention hunky camera man and bear expert as I thought you would consider me shallow Grin
