Anyone else feel cheated we went from auditions straight to 30 acts with no programme showing acts being chosen? I want the backstory, why this group and not another? How did the judges decide? Who did they fight over?

This feels like they had no say in it and the producers just chose for them. Not impressed.

I started a thread on GTD when it started, can't find it now I agree it's like they can't be arsed to do the 'proper' show and just churned out something to fill the schedule. I'm just watching the show now - I see Ashley has finally had a hair cut just not sure what he's trying to look like.

Just watched the results, amazing acts but Lukas was just awesome and fully deserved to go through. Tom was great as well but I had a wee soft spot for notorious.

@skullcandy oh no! I must have deleted too early, didn't realise there was another part when I'd finished watching auditions prog. Perhaps can find it online.

I thought notorious was robbed - made me think the voting isn't good for girls - possibly majority of voting is teenage girls who are likely to vote for boys?

I have to post about Lukas again, he blew me away last night. Gave me chills watching him. I watched it a few times and he is just an amazing performer. The atmosphere in the studio must have been electric when he was on. Also loved prodijig again. Just wish I had the money to go see their show.

skullcandy, I still think they took the easy/cheap option with choosing the semi-finalists as there wasn't the usual 'judge makes surprise visit with film crew' type announcements. I quite enjoy that bit.

I can do without them walking into a dance studio on a 'surprise' visit where mysteriously their entire extended family are there when they get told they are through and then there is loads of screaming!

I was so happy that Lukas got through, he was definately the best act, but I have to say, this series I haven't been half as excited about any of the acts in the way that I was about Prodijig. They stood out from their very first dance. This year I think it's all a bit meh. I've still got the Prodijig audition, white and blue routines saved and watch them all the time! I can't imagine wanting to do that to any of this year's finalists.

We are seeing Prodijig in May - We can't wait. DD and I were bouncing around the front room watching them.

Oh I agree the 'surprise' visits are anything but! It's the naffness that I liked the whole family/school/dance group gathered with the convenient film crew just in the corner to capture it all. I think it pisses me off that they now have the film of them supposedly before they audition as though they just randomly decide to film these people before they even set off. I preferred the fake 'surprise' to that!

I do agree about notorious though. They were good but as you say, Tom and Lukas stood out a mile in comparison. Loved that Tom was so overcome. Lukas still has me when I think about his performance.

Are they doing the same where each of the judges will do their own performance at each round of the remaining finals? Loved Kimberley's routine last year!

We also loved Lukas. So talented. Even DH said he felt quite emotional watching him - and DD (6) screamed 'it's like he can fly!!'. I think the right two got through, but agree Notorious were good - but they were in third place for me.

Suzy - probably. They need something to go on while the voting lines are open so they'll no doubt be part of that.
