Like the bbc2 Midwives series only filmed in Scotland.

Monday 26th Nov 2/5: A moving new series following midwives in Raigmore Hospital Inverness. Nicola and Craig wait for the birth of their first baby, but the labour is not going according to plan.

Accidentally found it last monday and thought I'd share Smile

Well, I happened to catch this last Monday as well - and in the clip of next week's programme, I recognised one of the couples! I don't even live in the Highlands, but my sister does, and one of her friends is on (sister hadn't told me either). I thought it was excellent.

There are lots of great documentaries on Alba - do you agree? I've seen some amazing stuff - they obviously have good funding.

Yes I thought it was excellent!

If I am remembering correctly there are some great music shows on there too. I haven't watched much else but will be having a look in future!

I bet people are put off because they imagine it will all be hoochter-teuchter stuff! Even the all-Gaelic programmes are well subtitled and often cover surprising topics.

And yes, some great music shows, too.

Everything I watch has subtitles anyway because it's either too noisy to hear the telly or I'm trying to be quiet so I don't wake the little ones up Grin

Will you be watching tomorrow? Will be quite interesting to see your sisters friends!

Yes, I'll be watching tonight. I love a good childbirth programme and shed a tear at every new baby.

My four little ones are all big now - adults - and my toddler grandson goes home to his parents at 5, so I'm free to watch with the volume up!
