Anyone watching? Really fascinating behind the scenes of Felix Baumgartner's amazing feat.

I'm watching. But the clips of him base jumping made me feel quite queasy.

Same here hobnob. It is a amazing to see him going from a base jumper, which is so totally illegal, to doing something for scientific research.

I usually watch Homeland but this is even more dramatic.

Even though I know the outcome it is really hard to watch the problems they had on the ascent.

Wow. I watched it at the time and had no idea how close it was to being a disaster.

I know. She was amazing. But then she is as strong as her son. The way he overcame his fear of freefalling in that pressurised suit was incredible. As was sorting out his visor even though there was a risk of losing contact with the outside world. We also know now why he pulled his parachute earlier than expected. I was sobbing by the end.

I also thought this was amazing
so scary when he jumped and he was falling and spinning
I really don't know how he could have done it
