Can't bear it - it's not funny. Feel free to prove me wrong.

theoriginalandbestrookie Fri 28-Sep-12 21:52:17

So glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like it, mind you I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it DH hates it so much that I have only ever watched about 5 secon

PickledFanjoCat Fri 28-Sep-12 21:53:13

I watch it and prepare to hate it. But I did crack one or two smiles there.

shrimponastick Fri 28-Sep-12 21:53:39

I don't find it funny either.

Irritating is the word i would use.

invicta Fri 28-Sep-12 21:53:55

We love it in our family.

PrimrosePath Fri 28-Sep-12 21:55:35

I like her, but I always make sure that I switch off before the singing bit at the end.

Heavensmells Fri 28-Sep-12 21:55:52

I didn't expect to find it funny but I love it! Laugh my head off every time it's on.

Sparklingbrook Fri 28-Sep-12 21:57:03

I think it's fab but I can see why others wouldn't. Marmite comedy eh?

Tryingtothinkofnewsnazzyname Fri 28-Sep-12 21:58:29

I said this on the last thread - or one of them - but as Sparklingbrook says above, it's a Marmite prog. Some love, some hate. I love but each to their own. Such fun!

BumsyClugger Fri 28-Sep-12 22:00:01

I watched it when it was first on and found it hilarious though that may have been the copious amounts of weed i was smoking at the time.

I watched the first few episodes again sober and didn't laugh once.

However, tonight's episode, that I hadn't seen before, I found myself actually laughing out loud with tears in my eyes grin

AgnesBligg Fri 28-Sep-12 22:00:02

I adore it/her.

BumsyClugger Fri 28-Sep-12 22:01:54

And I don't even smoke weed anymore grin

Definitely a Marmite program. Everyone else in my house hates it.

Sparklingbrook Fri 28-Sep-12 22:04:32

DS1 (13) thinks it funny. But he thinks Russell Howard is funny. Bit diverse. grin

whyme2 Fri 28-Sep-12 22:10:34

I found it awkward to watch but then caught myself laughing quite a few times. Very strange and even now I am not sure whether I like it or not.

Sparklingbrook Fri 28-Sep-12 22:11:55

The bit where she does the lap on the conveyor in the Sushi restaurant is nearly unwatchable through cringiness but funny at the same time.

moodyblues Fri 28-Sep-12 22:16:23

There are many, many cringey bits and awful overacting but I nearly died laughing tonight.

The fart scene is fabulous.

wintera Fri 28-Sep-12 22:17:36

Aww I like it and love her too. My seven year old saw some of it recently and now calls her 'the funny woman' so think she likes her as well!

BumsyClugger Fri 28-Sep-12 22:22:41

Moodyblues I almost woke my DD up at the fart scene grin

McPhee Fri 28-Sep-12 22:22:57

I lose my pelvic floor watching this blush

BumsyClugger Fri 28-Sep-12 22:23:50

up laughing at

spiderlight Fri 28-Sep-12 22:25:50

When is it back? I LOVE it. I thought I was going to hate it but I watched one once when I was ill and couldn't get to the remote and was instantly converted.

McPhee Fri 28-Sep-12 22:28:29

The fart scene

I've done that, but when I sneezed in the post office

I am miranda

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey Fri 28-Sep-12 22:28:56

Tis awful fecking rubbish.

Londonista1975 Fri 28-Sep-12 22:37:07

It's funny in places but definitely overrated generally. The new series is coming soon, as well as her book so we're going to be seeing a lot more of her between now and Christmas...

goshandspecs Fri 28-Sep-12 22:41:22

It's a load of fecking shite. Yawns!
