Just found out it will be airing on 19th October on FXUK. Can't wait, apparently it is more fast-paced like Season 1, which was fab, plus it has David Morrissey who is one of my favourite actors.

I can't wait either!

Apparently they got a lot of feedback that series 2 was a bit soap opera-ey and are stepping up the pace. As well as the Morrissey character there is a new female character, Michonne, who should shake things up a bit. If anyone's interested the graphic novel series of TWD (Robert Kirkman et al) is brutal but great. I've read the first compendium which goes past the prison bit so I'm up to where *** dies (got told off for spoilers a few months ago wink, interested to see how closely they stick to the original story....

Thanks SuoceraBlues that's what i'm hoping as well , we weren't far behind last series.

Me me me me me <squee's slightly>

I loved the first two series (though series did drag a bit in the middle) but even more importantly its David Morrissey. God, David Morrissey. My longest lasting celebrity crush. I love the man. He's a fantastic actor - and sex on legs...

SuoceraBlues Sat 29-Sep-12 15:17:29

(anyone know when we're getting American Horror Story 2?)

Not too long after the States I hope.

Crazy, mad and wonderful prog. that it is.

Yes he was in Blackpool with David Tennant, and Sarah Parish you are right. And they've all been in Dr Who as well since then.

LittleAbruzzenBear Fri 28-Sep-12 20:29:49

He was in a Dr Who episode, but been in so many fab programmes.

SuoceraBlues Fri 28-Sep-12 13:25:55

David Morrissey

I know that face.

He wasn't in the musical programme with old Dr Who and wotsherface from Cutting it was he? The one set in Blackpool.

I loved that. It was bonkers what with everybody breaking into song, but bonkers in a very good way.

LittleAbruzzenBear Fri 28-Sep-12 11:44:29

I watch it in the daytime too, hugging a cushion

aliciaflorrick Fri 28-Sep-12 11:31:28

Me, me, me and David Morrissey, so excited. Although I can't watch it in the dark I have to watch it during the day with the curtains open in bright sunshine.

I've seen pictures on Facebook, I think Merle comes back.

SuoceraBlues Fri 28-Sep-12 11:30:12

I have "viewing cushion" at the ready.

I need to get hold of the pilot and series 1 for another go around. It took me all of those episodes to build up resistance to watching "with eyes open" for more than five minutes at a time. i would take a week or more to watch jut one epidoe and the My Sky memory got a bit bogged down with the backlog.

God knows why I am so desperate to wath something that scares the shit so effectivly out of me. But I love it !

LittleAbruzzenBear Fri 28-Sep-12 11:30:02

lynniep I found Season 2 a disappointment after the excellent Season 1, but the producers/writers realised most fans thought this and have promised a return to the exciting, fast-paced action so I have high hopes too.

WheresMyCow Fri 28-Sep-12 11:26:56

or even grin

WheresMyCow Fri 28-Sep-12 11:26:38

Me!! [GRIN]

lynniep Fri 28-Sep-12 11:19:04

No not really, as I was kind of bored by the end of S2. However will be watching it anyway, with high hopes that its a bit more thrilling!

WinklyFriedChicken Fri 28-Sep-12 11:17:47

Oooh excited but worried as TWD gives me zombie nightmares blush
