Doctors Addicts Anonymous Continued - TBFE sees a SDTP wearing a waterfall cardigan and thinks 'WTF?'

Welcome one and all to the fan club of the afternoon soap 'Doctors'.

For any newcomers , explanations as follows:

TBFE: The Bloke From Emmerdale (Ian Kelsey who plays Howard)

SDTP: Saddo Doctors Thread Partakers (which we all think know we are but we love it anyway).

Waterfall cardi: Apparently these are a MN no-no but it's a wardrobe essential to a SDTP.

Gobbyplods: Karen and Rob Hollins, aka 'the only plod in the village'

Beanbags: are now being Freecycled and will be passed on to other lentil weavers.

Lovely! Smile

Was in M&S yesterday and they had a lot of waterfall cardis. I was giving knowing looks to all the forty-somethings browsing them, but no one offered to arrange a home visit, so I don't think any of you lot were there.

Thought you were hitting the town last night, MsN? Did you have fun?

Biscuit it was a wedding vow renewal thingy so I left the house at 10.30am. By 8pm, I was done in. My days of pouring myself in a taxi at daft o'clock are over it seems. Smile

Had a great time though.

Nice to see you Sparkling and Mildred Smile.

I've just realised it makes me a SUPER SDTP as I created this new thread after being out at a party all day Blush

And yy, we are all now on waiting room chairs. We can make the Campus look busy and Howard will come dashing in to order people about. He could order me about any day of the week actually Grin

Coo-eee!

I'm here.
Glad of the chairs to be honest, it's impossible to haul myself off that bloody beanbag nowadays.

Sparkling! Shock That is indecent! It is a tart's dressing gown! What would TBFE think??

Hello Mary - that is the best reason to buy an iPad I've ever heard. I tend to watch it in the evenings too, as DD & DH do not appreciate it for some odd reason.

Glad you had a good time, MsN. But keep your hands off TBFE, he's mine all mine. Otherwise I'll have to tell him you recently compared him to Eddie Munster.

I feel your pain (had to evict DD at 40+14 with CS). Sad

But I see you aren't dismissing my name suggestions out of hand, so there is still hope of a Doctors baby name!

Poor blondiep. I'm with Biscuit, we need Heston reviving as a baby name (if it's a boy of course).

I have a strange (hormonal?) fondness for the name Heston, and Zara is on our girl's list Grin.

I don't care what we name it at the moment! I honestly feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever.

I won't be. Will I??!

Report
BiscuitNibbler · 23/09/2012 11:45

Heston is a lovely name. Cuddly and lovely as well as being strong and dependable. Definitely due a revival.

I really like Zara, too.

BabyBlondie is going to be a SDTP from birth! Grin

MsNobodyAgain · 23/09/2012 11:47

Bless ya, of course you won't. A SDTP needs to give birth in the next week and as far as I know, you're the only one that is pregnant (unless someone has got something they need to tell us??) Hmm

I'll let blondie have the Doctors names though!
