sharon arrived with nothing yet after about a week she leaves or tries to with piles of bags. does one or two shifts in the club pay that well? can i have a job there?
Ian's hat is still superglued to his head
all children under eight are strangely mute or seem to disappear (where's Oscar these days?)
people go clubbing during the day

please add your own bizarre happenings?

Babies are born clean, never changed/bathed/fed, they then vanish to reappear 2 years later as teenagers. confused Characters also never go to the toilet and never bathe.

Ian had had his hair cut and no hat on on the last episode I watched. I seemed to have missed the 'de-hatting' ceremony though.

LineRunner Sat 01-Sep-12 18:53:04

I'm still reeling from the fact that Sharon is clearly meant to be some kind of irresistable blonde dolly-bird.

I have always been fascinated by Kat's lip gloss. I think it's made out of the same high-grade super-slime that NASA puts in rockets to line the fuel tanks.

Fiveflowers Sat 01-Sep-12 18:58:02

And Roxy quite happily ran out of her flat leaving Amy with Abi.

Didn't she have Amy taken by social services after leaving her with young babysitters?

And how come Janine and Lola look so slim so soon after giving birth?

GoingBlankAgain Sat 01-Sep-12 19:02:17

Kat is looking pretty ropey, like she hadn't slept and had the world on her shoulders.

LineRunner Sat 01-Sep-12 19:08:22

Five Who were the young babysitters? Wasn't it Ben and Jay?

griphook Sat 01-Sep-12 20:02:44

How none of them, not one commutes into London for work. Why huh why not?

Why don't they have washing machines? It would be cheaper than using the launderette?

Why is Lola aloud to live with billy, ss were involved surely they must know that he beat up Jamie.

Derek? I just don't get why people are scared of him?

griphook Sat 01-Sep-12 20:03:14

Nobody sneezes smile

GoingBlankAgain Sat 01-Sep-12 20:11:45

or farts!

MyNeighbourIsStrange Sat 01-Sep-12 20:13:45

Nobody has a life mess in their home, it is either a pit or a show home.

Another mystified how Sharon is sex on legs and all didums with Denny.

Fiveorangeflowers Sat 01-Sep-12 21:44:53

LineRunner, yes it was Ben & Jay. Didn't Amy have an accident when they were supposed to be looking after her and ended up in hospital? (I'm only an occasional viewer).

Tut. You'd think Roxy would be more careful. <reminds self it Isn't Real>

Fiveorangeflowers Sat 01-Sep-12 22:02:21

And, despite working in the laundrette, pub, caff or corner shop which can't pay all that well - they all have houses in London with nice furniture.

Carol dresses in Country Casuals a lot too.

Thegoddessblossom Sat 01-Sep-12 22:05:46

Why do they all drink at lunchtime and how can they all afford it?

LouisaJF Sun 02-Sep-12 08:49:50

None of them watch Corrie!

NotQuitePerfect Sun 02-Sep-12 10:00:18

The only soft drink available at the Vic is orange juice. Everyone buys their wine to drink at home at the Vic. And they do all their food shopping at the Minute Mart then walk home with 6 half-empty carrier bags. Tanya has 6-inch heels cemented to her feet.

Jemma1111 Sun 02-Sep-12 10:17:00

There's been so many people knocked over on the square you'd have thought they would have speed humps !

Other tragedies aswell happening on the square , including a fair few murders would surely put people off living there !

chipstick10 Sun 02-Sep-12 13:55:28

a couple of years back max defrauded most of the square out of money and not one person went to the police
Phil does alot of heavy breathing and grunting but very very rarely hits anyone, why is everyone scared of him.?????
People have house parties and go clubbing when its still light.
The police are always on a par with inspector clouseau.
Everyone leaves walford by cab
Does Shirley ever wash her hair?
Beauticians in beauty parlours have to follow pretty strict standards, it fails miserably at Tanias

VonHerrBurton Sun 02-Sep-12 18:16:17

She sold her engagement ring for £200 to Jack - remember? Then had 'fish and chips twice, large G&T and an orange juice please, Trace'

MyNeighbourIsStrange Sun 02-Sep-12 18:17:39

Oh yes, it was sausage and Mash.

Birdsgottafly Sun 02-Sep-12 19:40:37

Both Phil and Dereck 'know' enough people that they can get anything done and have been involved in organised crime.

They were both at one time ruthless.

Why is Lola aloud to live with billy, ss were involved surely they must know that he beat up Jamie.

They have been through the investigation process and have a CP SW, whois overseeing the case, they are on a last warning, that is why Jay had to leave, Billy said that he had to put Lola first.

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere Sun 02-Sep-12 21:21:10

If there is a car in the story, they ALWAYS find parking right outside The Queen Vic.

No one moans about the cost of things at the Minute Mart and no one says - "why the bloody hell did you not get that at Tesco, rather?"

Mrsjay Mon 03-Sep-12 10:40:31

Roxy will leave amy with anybody confused they never seem to go anywhere in enders yet if they are needing to go anywhere they jump int heir cars phil went to the 'nick' the other week in his landrover most people walk to it ,

they all seem to have time for a drink a meal and socialise at lunchtime My dds laughed at laurens afternoon party grin

pumpkinsweetie Mon 03-Sep-12 10:49:34

People leave, then come back with changed personalities complete with a different body in size, age and staturegrin
Lauren went away a petite young looking 14 year old and came back quite a few feet taller with a completley different face.
Then with Ben a similar story happened, and Lucy also!

I believe its better to write characters out rather than sending in completely different people that look nothing alike whatsoevergrin
I still wonder whether the originals were abducted by aliens as 3 characters have been 'swapped' in just over a yeargrin
