OK - he has a secret. But what might it be? He certainly seems to be living with someone - married? Other partner?

I like Eileen, and wish she could just find a nice, friendly, uncomplicated man and actually enjoy a relationship.

I wonder if his wife has a terminal illness and is keen on him finding his new partner before she dies so she knows who is going to be stepmum to their children.
I don't think that has been done before on a soap.

Isn't that a bit like how Ian beale got together with his most recent wife in EE ( disclaimer, haven't watched EE for years so could be wrong).

I reckon that it's either a domestice violence storyline and he can't leave, or his wife has dementia.

I think the wife has an illness and wants to find a replacement mother for her children and wife for her husband before she dies?

Yes, he was Mike Barnes in Hollyoaks and does the voice over for How It's Made. Every time I hear his smug voice and see his smug mug I want to punch him. Don't rate his acting, either.

Corrie has certainly done bigamy before. Emily married a bigamist way back in the day... can't remember his name. Something beginning with 'A' Hmm

I think it could well be a scenario where a wife is permitting an affair, for whatever reason.

Pity - I'd just like to see Eileen in a normal relationship with a nice man.

I do like to see Julie with the headmaster!

I think we'll find out tonight, as Eileen is set on going round to tell his wife what he has been doing.

I'm beginning to warm to Marcus, and Sean is finally beginning to show signs of being a grown up. There are perhaps possibilities in the Grimshaw household after all (though I wish Rosie would go back on extended leave - much better without her, and the spoiler I've read about her upcoming storyline is the most dreadful recycled twaddle I've seen in a long time).

I wonder how much scurrying round and rewriting has been going on, with one actor on unexpected leave of absence and a couple of others down with disgusting colds.

It was ages ago when he first came back.

Makes my teeth itch watching him being all nice to Carla, don't scriptwriters remember storylines?

Presumable Eileen is going to agree to be the other woman at some point.
