Curb your Enthusiam- why did LD split up with Cheryl?

I seemed to have skipped from series 4 because I couldn't wait for Sky Atlantic to catch up!! The last one I saw LD seems to be with a new gf and Cheryl looks like she's had a complete make over!! Was there a Sienfeld reunion in RL or, is it just part of the show?

Cheryl phones Larry from a plane because it hits turbulence and she thinks she's going to die.

At home, after weeks of trying, Larry has finally got the TiVo guy to come round (that's a Sky engineer, isn't it?), and is reluctant to let him go to listen to Cheryl's whinings.

So she dumps him for an underpants entrepreneur who appears to be more caring successful than Larry.

Larry attempts to woo her back by writing a part for her in a Seinfeld reunion show despite the fact that he's previously resisted it and she is a shit actress who can't even play herself.

Cheryl instantly decides she loves Larry all along. Can you tell I loathe Cheryl?

I think the Seinfeld reunion is part of the show.

They were an odd match. I love jeffs wife, though! Did she actually have a baby? I remember them hiring a nanny because she was pregnant and it was never mentioned again.

Jeff's wife Susie is a she-devil. She does have a child (also vile) but I imagine it was hatched, not born in the normal fashion. I wager that if you were to shave its head you would find 666 there.

The nanny was indeed bonkers. But it was no more than Susie and the hatchling deserved.

I may be too attached to Larry.

Oh, re: the girlfriend. I think you're thinking of Loretta Black whose family were Katrina refugees that Cheryl imposed on Larry to soothe her social conscience.

They turned out to be monumental pains in the neck, though to be fair, Larry did have meaningful feelings for Loretta for a short while and Leon Black was a bit of a laugh.

Susie was pregnant..then there was an episode where she fell out of the window onto a load of cake boxes wasn't there.. And it was never mentioned after that. I assume it was just a useful plot device and they sort of forgot about it.

There was a Seinfeld reunion within the show, but not irl. Perfect way to do it, so clever.

Tonight I went out with my friend and her new hot boyfriend. I had a LD moment. She'd been telling me how hot he is in the sack. He went and got the drinks in. He had a lovely looking cocktail, he insisted I tried it fro
his straw. I politely sucked. All I could think about was larrys mate and the blow job on the way to dinner!!

DH and I had been watching CYE on Atlantic and it prompted us to go back and watch Seinfeld from the start - big mistake! Now we have six episodes of CYE lined up to watch, and we can't bring ourselves to, because it's just not as funny as Seinfeld!
