The tranny night out last night? Why do they always look so bad??? Poor Audreys face!! And then there's Amber. Clearly another soap child who is not going to finish her education. Has anyone been to uni since Ken?

Agreed. Why would Mark/Marcia even contemplate such a hideous wig?! Seriously no one would voluntarily have their hair done like that. Aud should offer to style it for him.

Nobody goes to Uni from Corrie and actually finishes. In fact I think no-one goes to uni at all, apart from Amber. Dozy Webster looked promising when she was into her goth/emo phase with boyfriend Craig and they kept reading very serious books and talking about the meaning of life.

But then they gave her a lobotomy and her entire personality changed so that she couldn't look attractive AND be clever at the same time. She now says ridiculously ignorant things (think Jade Goody 'is East Anglian abroad?') that the old Rosie would so not have said. I hate this when they change a character so completely.

I've stopped watching Corrie because I CBA ,but I hate hate hate the way Rosie and David Platt hang their mouths open after they've said something.Just looks gormless and insolent

Makes me want to smack them sharply until the chin to get them to close their gobs

Roy's mum is great, now we are starting to get to the bottom of the problems in their relationship it is a good storyline.

Is anyone else finding the returned Marcus seriously annoying? I though he was a good character first time round, but he just seems to be a total showoff now and I don't like the way he has taken over little Dylan, poor old Sean.

I just want to pluck Marcia's eyebrows for her. Tho that would raise a few questions when Mark appears in the pub

On the previous night out, when someone asked Audrey of she was a tranny - brilliant. She & Mark look like brother & sister!

I thought Leanne's acting was brilliant when she was in hospital, it's been a while since I shed a tear over a soap. (Ok , well I might have cried a bit when Ronnie left eastenders)

Well the first burst into tears was a bit OTT but after that she was good. It made me cry a bit too.

I really like the Barlow/money storyline. Tracey is actually not the baddie at the moment! Can't wait to see Ken's face when he realises he's been had!
Mark? Who knew? Not me. A question - how old is Audrey supposed to be? Since Alf passed on she seems to attract men who look decades younger than her.

Roy's mum seems like a bit of a replacement for Blanche in that she says all the un-pc things. She's becoming a bit more likeable, which as you say is down to the character development and also excellent acting.

Her real mum. Was 15 when she had her, couldnt' cope & left her with Les Battersby & his mum to look after.

Gail was 50 a couple of years ago, so 70 is probably about right for Audrey. Mark looks early 50s to me.

Agree Roy's mum (what is her name?) is obviously a much needed Blanche replacement, she reminds me as well of Phyllis Pearce from a hew years ago.

I do want things to work out for Peter and Leanne, I know they both have flawed characters but they are for me the best pairing in the series at the moment (except maybe Roy and Hayley), both good actors too.

Roy is great. Where else would you find a charcter like him? Most soaps are so bland & full of shiny people. (Not EE obviously! but I can't watch that)

Audrey looks fab! I did chortle tonight when Tracey said " that kd Lang over the road" referring to Sophie. Surely he won't get away with fleecing the Barlows? Oh, what about Peter? I do fancy him. I can't help it.

I'm sure the Barlows mortgaged themselves to the hilt in order to pay for Tracey to have an expensive solicitor for the murder trial, I haven't seen tonight's yet, but if whatisname, grandson, is trying to pass himself off as Ken to mortgage the house again surely that would appear in the credit checks? Or is that far too sensible?
