WHAT????Shock

Nice post catmilk Angry

No diffrrent to the 7up series. A show following children as they grow.

SN kids are just that....KIDS. They deserve coverage too. Not hidden away.

WTF? Hmm

DO you have a child with SN?

I can;t wait to see how they are all doing, I've followed this from the first series.

Have reported. I resent children with special needs being called freaks!!! But there i should feel sorry for the poster for having such a narrow minded attitude!!!

I have reported as well.

I was glad to see that Shelby was in the advert. I do often think of her.

Catmilk..my child is worth 1000000 of ignorant people like you

Catmilk is obviously not a regular here. Am guessing they surfed on in and decided to be offensive to stir up trouble.

AtYourCervix · 05/06/2011 20:32

I'm trying hard to see Catmilk's point. Docu-drama programmes are often a bit 'freakshow' (think big-fat-gypsy-wedding or supersize types). But in this case I just can't. Born to be different has been a brilliant series featuring lovely, normal families doing what they need to do and to watch them grow up through the years. So will just report and ignore.

Yekke · 05/06/2011 20:32

Catmilk, that's just not normal. You need to look in the mirror.

Reported.

AYC I tried to be charitable and was going to suggest that Catmilk had worded badly a concern that the BBC were taking advantage of SN children by using them for TV 'entertainment' but I couldn't explain or excuse the latter part of her comment. I concluded that deliberate offence must have been the intention.

Report
DillyDaydreaming · 05/06/2011 20:35

She meant to be offensive and she has been - end of.

I have wondered when I saw the trailer for this program how voyeuristic/exploitative it might turn out to be, but Catmilk: shame on you Shock!

Reported.

not seen ep 1 but have seen ep 2... gosh, it's good. can't see in a million years how it is freak show-like. (while i do appreciate that some of channel five's output could be accused of that).
