How planned is show me show me do you think?

It always sounds so natural, just like Chris and Poi are rambling on off the tops of their heads, but then it always fits in so nicely with the songs etc.

We should give show me show me an award- best thing on telly for the under fives. So calm and relaxed, at the children's level but without including silly baby talk, and the right mix of real world and fantasy - I wish all kids tv was like this!

However, what is going on with having a shop (selling random objects and never seeming to take any money)at the top of a tower block? And why does Bo Peep have that accent?

I love Show me Show me, and so does DS 11.5months. It's easily the best programme on CBeebies.

I think it probably is well planned because it all links so well - reminds me a bit of 'Playschool' when I was little. I'm ashamed to say DS and I watch it most days, though we do watch it together and join in.

Not so keen on the earlier ones - they were on a bit over Christmas. Didn't realise the format had changed as only started watching it more recently - Penelope and the story time is a bit dull compared with the great songs that the toys have - I love them!

Chris and Poi are so good unlike the twee Alex and Kerry.

Should definitely get an award. I'm sure I love it more than DS! Blush

It's the best show ever! I love them both, I'll probably still be watching when DD (2) is out at work!

Quite often Pui and/or Chris are creditted as writing the show, so I think it's their brainchild and certainly based on the Playschool format.

And some useless information for you - Pui used to be Po on Tellytubbies!

This is one of my favourites as well, and 18m DD loves it too! It's at just the right level and a great mix of role-playing, games and songs.

I love the way they put in little things that little ones wouldn't get - the other week they were doing different types of bags; one was a 'mum's handbag' and Pui came out with her best Lady Bracknell "a haaand-baag??" Grin

Totally planned, down to the last millisecond, I reckon. Chris is FAB!! He's got such a lovely rubbery face.

I like the toys. Miss Mouse is soooo cool - I want to dress like her.

It must be scripted, it's too 'together' not to be. We are big fans here - DD is 2.10, and whenever she hears music everyone has to do 'groovy moves'.

I can remember watching Chris on CBBC when I was younger - he is ageless!

I totally agree about Chris's face Sossiges - I love his voices too - Hey diddle cow, Jack and Humpty all make me laugh! Yes Pui as Incy is good too.

I like the adult asides too Species - the other day's episode was on parrots and Chris said, who's a pretty Pui then! Silly but funny.

They're such a great team and SMSM is so good that it makes me feel a bit less guilty for having the t.v on. Hope they keep making it!

Think I may have read somewhere they're on tour??? How exciting if true! Grin
