todays codly warnign( afetr a day in cout)
please tell teenagers to buy a ticket for a train
if htey dont they get sent to court and get a cirminla record for 5 years

haeving a shit post at their student house or meanign to pay on the train or at the other end is NO GOOD

and if they haev a crim record they cant go tot america

please tell em

Thanks. Will warn student son who is likely to do that and has opportunity to study in USA next year. Would be really irritating if couldn't get visa because too lazy to buy ticket (the visa application is bad enough anyway....)

I bought ds's ticket to Wales, because I was concerned that there might be some bravado amongst his mates.

Funnily enough, as we were at the station getting it sorted, he was reading the ad that lists the names and home towns of some of those caught. It seemed to sink in.

I didn't realise the consequences though.

What about being caught buying alcohol before 18? He asked me about that one, and I didn't know.
