Birthday present for DS's 16th birthday

I would be so grateful for some inspiration, wise M-netters.

DS is turning 16 at the end of the month. He is a particularly un-acquisitive child (unlike his younger sisters): when we ask what he would like he says he has everything he needs.

He is going to go to a VR (virtual reality) place and lunch with 5 friends, which is not cheap, so that's the main 'present' - but I would love him to have something to unwrap. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Ummm, they tend to want money at this age, mercenary little sods! However, there is also the IT route ... new mobile or laptop or some other gadgets ... fancy speakers or headphones. If his room is in need of redecoration and new furniture, bedclothes you could take this moment. Good luck!

Ds is 16 next month, used up all of ideas then, he's got an up to date phone and got Airpods at Christmas which he loves.

Think it has to be chocolate, ps4 points and hard cash for him. Maybe a nike or adidas tshirt or 2 for the gym.

You'll probably want to shoot me if I say a car ;)

But I agree that money is a good way to go. Unless he has a specified hobby.

What's the point in getting a car when he can't drive it for another year? Confused

If his main present is a party experience you can just Bing him a few quid....does he have any hobbies? I've never known someone with a hobby have everything they need.
