Anyone recommend vitamins/minerals for teen Dd during Gcse stress?

My 16 year old copes well with her studies and has always just got on with it without much stress. Every so often, when the load gets too much, she does show signs of stress and it appears to manifest itself physically. Her appetite changes, she feels nausea, she gets stomach aches or headaches. She gets enough sleep, still does sport and does always eat something at each meal, so I wondered if it would help for her to take a vitamin/mineral supplement during these months of GCSEs. Is there anything proven to be beneficial? Does stress cause the depletion of anything?

All round multi vitamin and cod liver oil cant do any harm. Rescue remedy. Pulse point balls. Foods that are good for stress - porridge oats, avocados, bananas (source of magnesium), protein.

Has she tried some guided meditation, this can really help with stress. Does she get any exercise during these times? She may not feel she has time but half an hour to do some running or yoga would help to clear her head and might improve her appetite.

Sorry, I did the typical MN thing of not marrying the question. Like gunpowder says, a good multivitamin and mineral supplement and a COD liver oil capsule should cover it. smile

The we use the wellteen girl concentration tablets and echinacea tablets to support the immune system.

Thanks for your responses. I've been meaning to try and form a habit of mindfulness medication with my younger Dd, who has more ongoing anxiety, so I could do it with dd1 too. Good idea.

Thanks for supplement recommendations.

Fortunately she's still doing spirt and I press upon her the importance of not sweeping aside all other parts of her life whilst doing GCSEs. Her sport comes to an end at Easter but she says she will run after that to keep up her fitness.
