Hi All,
I am new here and a friend of mine suggested mumsnet as a resource for me as I recently discovered my 14 year old daughter is/has self harmed (just before Christmas 2017), alongside many longstanding approx. 1 year / other issues such as anxiety, depression all related directly back to friendship groups, self confidence and school.
On looking at help etc. available for my daughter, we are starting to put tools and assistance in place for her via her Secondary School and our Doctors......... although its a slow process.
I was seeking something for myself and husband in the Hertfordshire area but seem to have come to a halt in terms of support groups that are not online.......whatever happened to leaving the house and meeting up?
If there is anybody out there that can point me in the right direction, going through or been through similar, I would really welcome hearing from you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post/thread
