Can anyone recommend any good books for a 12 yr old dd to read about periods/emotions/friends/anxiety?
I've looked on Amazon and read reviews but wondered if anyone has bought and could recommend.

Also books for me to read about how to deal with dd to support and encourage/understand what she's going through and to know what to expect in the upcoming years.

Have yiu heard of a Mighty Girl Dala? I sometimes buy my younger DD books from them. The books for teen girls are here. And if you check out their parenting books, I’m sure you’ll find one that stands out for you. I’ve recently got a Tangled, just need to get around to reading it now! smile

Has your pre-teen read Wonder?
I don't know about teen girls. I have a teen boy. But Wonder was read in class when he was 12 and the kids just loved it. It's a beautiful story. The film is out as well.
