How do I handle this camera spying one?!

My 16 year old daughter looks after our neighbour's after college 3 days/wk.

Neighbour has installed a camera indoors (daughter says it's so she can watch for break-ins) and she can sit and watch everything that goes on in her kitchen/diner (quite a large room).

The other day, my neighbour started talking to my daughter through the camera, so she was clearly watching her!

My daughter doesn't like being there now and says it's creepy. Husband and I agree and we don't want our daughter being watched.

She's supposed to be staying overnight soon with her friend to dog sit and none of us is happy about it.

Advice welcomed! Btw we get on well with the neighbours and don't want any upset.

No - the job would end now if that were my daughter. No way would she be being filmed in the house.

I would say it to the neighbours. I would not be one bit happy with that.

2 choices either tell neighbours straight or say that she needs to concentrate on her college studies and can't do it anymore

No way - tell them straight that it's creepy and their boundaries are shot to pieces! Don't make up a story to let them off the hook.

Thank you for your advice! I've told my neighbours that it just feels uncomfortable and she's happy for my daughter to turn it off while she's there and back on when she leaves 😉
