Dd pe injury (again)

She came home today and told me that shed twisted her left ankle outwards after jumping playing benchball in pe and she said it felt really painful when she did it but then a few mins later it was fine enough to continue playing but since she has got home its got increasingly stiff even with moving it and ice and she says its getting more painful but there is no bruising, discoloration or swelling it looks completely normal what should i do?

Have you given painkillers? Also there are muscle rubs you can use. If it's not better in a couple of days I would go to your walk in centre.

Shes had paracetamol but most painkillers barely have any effect on her and weve tried arnica gel

Have you tried anti-inflamatries such as ibrufen? Paracetamol won't touch pain like that

Had ibuprofen and in the past hour her pain has got so bad she cant even put weight on it she cant walk at all is it an idea to go straight to a and e

If she cannot put any weight on it at all, go to A+E.

Yeah. A&E. If she twisted it as badly as you suggest, it could well be broken.

Well, sort of kidding. My dd had to do PE in her pants for not having her PE kit. Is that worse than hurting her ankle? Perhaps my dd should ask for compensation?
