Battle scarred by my teens

One of them DD 15 has gone to a sleepover. Was totally stroppy and horrible beforehand. I know she was nervous but it's so horrible. The other DS 13 has gone to his dads. He has also been stroppy all day, we were looking at his not very good school report and he got angry at my comments and ripped it up. The two DCs are at each other's throats the whole time. I am so worn out with it all, that when I get a night off I am officially exhausted and in a bad mood.
Does it get better? They have always been a challenge but I have been able to keep my sanity before. I really feel it's under threat at the moment .

It does get better. Personally I found this the worst stage of having 2 DC. Mine are now 18 and 15 and although they refer to each other by awful names, it's actually done in quite an affectionate way. I even caught the youngest one giving her DB a hug the other day cos he wasn't feeling well.

I have a teen and a toddler and I regularly feel like I'm loosing my sanity. I have no advice but just wanted to say you're not alone and it HAS to get better. Hugs 😍

It passes - my sister is 3 years younger and we eventually saw eye to eye. I think she was about 40.
