Hi, I'm really struggling with my 17 year old DD. She always seems to be ill and looks very pale. I've taken her to the doctor on numerous times and she's had all the appropriate blood tests etc, but they can't find anything. However, she is still complaining about feeling dizzy and sick all the time.
I'm at a loss as what to do. Any help please or advice would be great thanks

I was the when I was about 14/15, always feel ill, tired and in a lot of pain. I had all sorts of tests and nothing came back, I didn't find out whag was actually wrong with me until I was about 25. Now the same is happening to my 16 yo DD, it was almost like as soon as she turned 14 she started having problems no one could diagnose as anything!

You just need to keep pushing the doctors for tests and reminding them of all the symptoms and how long she's had them amd eventually they will find something.

Is she anaemic? I struggled with this a lot as a teen, and often felt run down, weak, dizzy, and looked pale. Eventually they looked at my ferritin stores and found I was deficient, although previous tests hadn't detected an issue.

My DD is the same. Always pale and suffers with sickness. Also had blood test that show nothing. Could there be any stress or anxiety as it can present in physical form?

Is she eating/sleeping well? Any stress/anxiety/depression? Do you have carbon monoxide detectors? What about food allergies? Thyroid? Blood pressure? Could be so many things. Could just be hormones. Hope you get some answers soon!
