One than one teen with MH problems

How do you cope/destress when you have more than one teen at home with MH issues who are critical of each other? They won't talk to each other about how they're feeling so argue and increase the strife. One currently has a therapist, the other has an appointment due in 3 weeks. The first wants to talk to the other, the second doesn't.

I'm waiting for this period to pass and I'm sure that it will but it is a hard slog while we are in the middle.

When you next have an appointment ask if there's any family therapy available, which could help you all talk to each other.

DS1's therapist has suggested that DS2 joins us for a session. DS2 flat out refuses. DS2 has an appt soon but refuses to let me sit in on the initial interview. I can't insist due to his age. DS2 won't try to see things from the other side. He is stuck in his depression and is unable to see beyond that. DS1 is doing his beat to recover but feels hampered by DS2. I'm considering contacting DS2's therapist in advance of the appt to make him aware of the situation as DS2 is unlikely to talk about this particular element of the whole family dynamics.
