teen and girlfriend, where do they hang out in the house ??

Im just wondering!

My ds is 17 he has a girlfriend for 8 months .
She lives in an apartment & I'm told her mom lets them hang out in her room. They are there more than here.
Today they came here and went straight upstairs to his room. After a bit I knocked and went in to find out what time I was dropping home & they were on the bed ( dressed , kissing ) hot & sweaty tho !!
I also have a ds14 so want to be sure of what I'm going to set as house rules .

What's fair and reasonable in your opinion ??

In their room. My 17 year old son's girlfriend stays over regularly.

I have a ds (16) and I've said no to the girlfriend upstairs his room is a health hazard.

We're lucky enough to have to downstairs rooms so they tend to sit in there where the big tv and Xbox are. DD (11) ventures in there quite a lot so they can't do much more than a bit of snogging

Have said no friends full stop when me or dh aren't here but I'm not convinced

I told them to head downstairs when I was leaving the room.
I want to be happy with & fair to them with my decision.

What were your reasons for allowing them in the room madlizzy ?

Dd nearly 18 and her bf hang around in the kitchen eating like locusts, tv room and bedroom. He does stay over in her room occasionally.

I had a heart to heart with myself and harked back to the shame days of my late teens where my parents made me feel like shit for having a normal proper relationship. I won't make dd feel crap for being normal.

Also have a 13 year old dd who is totally unfazed by her sisters Bf hanging around night or day.

DS is 16. He's been with his GF for a year and insists they are not up to shenanigans when they spend time in his room. They spend more time at her house and her mum is often out so if they want to do anything they have ample opportunity there, so not much point in me restricting them here. But to be fair, the other DCs are usually pottering around upstairs too and it's not beyond them to open the door without knocking so I think DS would be careful not to get caught out!

They're in an established relationship and having sex. They are sensible about contraception and old enough to be doing this. No point making them sit downstairs with me. They're also respectful and I don't hear a thing.

I have two teenage DSs' with girlfriends.
They either go into the attic and watch netflix or play on the xbox or ps3, or go into the middle room of the house, or to the bedroom.

Usually though they are out and we don't see much of them unless we've all gone somewhere together.

I'm new here and can relate to this post. With my two teen girls they hang out with their bf's either in their room or in the backyard by our small swimming pool. My 15 yr old has her bf staying here most of the time and my 13 yr old just has her bf over during the day usually.

17 yr old DS3 and his GF always go straight to his room. What they do in there is their own business. DS2 19 and his girlfriend had marathon shagfests in his room, didn't mind that but the girlfriends constant giggling and shouting DUDE began to grate after an hour or so.

We had the noise issue in the beginning but after a few talks they have learned to keep it alot quieter.
