I have two dds, one 15 with a moderate disability and one 11. They can't be left alone together.
My mum used to help out with childcare as did a student friend of ours; mum now suddenly is very ill with cancer, completely out of the blue, and the student is job hunting.
Am completely clueless as to what to do with these children whilst we're at work. Playscheme type things tend to end at 12 years old, or include activities that dd1 can't do or which dd2 can't be arsed to do.
Anyone want to come over to ours for the summer to drink coffee whilst my kids play Minecraft or watch Big Bang Theory repeats whilst ignoring one another?
