On strike for doing things for my dc?

I'm fed up of asking for simple things to be done, eg. Scrape your plate when finished, pick up your rubbish/dirty socks/vital pieces of shite, tidy kitchen if made something, etc etc

I want to stop providing all services but will I crack due to the inevitable shit heap that will become of the flat and lack of nutrition imbibed?

What gets me is I can go away for work for a night or too and come home to a home in the same state I left it and a cooked meal waiting for me. Next evening after being at work for the day everything is left for me to sort.

Do I need to resort to my house share days of keeping a clean plate, knife, fork & spoon and saucepan in my wardrobe and let them get on with the rest?

So frustrated right now!

My DP says we should do this! But I just can't bring myself to.

Good luck

I have gradually developed a rule of only using strikes/punishments that are going to hit them rather than me. So might well refuse to wash their socks but would still clean the plates I am going to have to eat from.
