Monster appetite

My 13 year old is eating non stop. He's simply never full. I'm spending a small fortune on food. I try to buy lots of healthy snacks but he eats them in seconds. He's very skinny so I'm not worried about him gaining too much weight but what on earth can I feed him to fill him up? He's not a big bread fan but likes to nibble instead. I buy him tubs of tomatoes, he's just gone upstairs with a whole cucumber. He's had a big bowl of pasta with olives and mozzarella. Then I made him a bowl of noodles with miso soup. He ate a giant bag of crisps before those two meals. He's now storming about the kitchen claiming there's no food. Is it ok for him to fill up with crisps and biscuits?

I suppose he needs more protein.

Eggs
Baked beans
Tuna

Biscuits aren't going to fill him up.

Bananas are filling. Porridge is filling.

Give him protein so eggs, fish, meat, plus vegetables
The protein will fill him up for longer

He needs protein and low GI food to keep him full for longer.

And peanut butter is a good source of protein.

He doesn't like bananas or porridge. He does like Eggs and I make him eggs a lot. Baked beans is a good idea. I'll get a stash and maybe he will have some with bread.

He won't eat meat. He doesn't like peanut butter. The problem is he's not a big fan of carbs. I do loads of veg for him and he loves veg. He loves quorn sausages but I keep running out. Grin
