My DS16 was at his dad's on Thursday evening for tea, my partner was at home and I was away with friends for the night.
The day before I'd found half a bottle of cheap vodka in his room, I questioned him and he said it was his mates, left over from a party. Tended to believe him as I don't think he likes vodka but who knows - don't really believe a word he says these days. I removed the vodka as DS13 often goes into his room.
So I'm at my relaxing spa retreat when DP texts me to say 2 of DS mates walked into the house, up the stairs past the living room (we live in a 3 storey house with the living room on the middle floor) and went into Ds16 bedroom.
My DP was confused as he'd heard both DS go with their dad half an hour previously. He went up to ask them what they were doing and they said they were looking for a pair of headphones!! Yeah right!
He told them to leave. He then said there were a group of lads on the corner singing and shouting and sounding drunk! He wasn't sure who they were.
I was absolutely amazed and very angry that these kids think it's acceptable to walk into someone's house without even ringing the bell.
DS16 is also a bit perplexed. I've told him he needs to seriously think about what friends he chooses. Both boys are banned from my house now.
Pity the vodka is crap, I'd be drinking it myself it was decent!
