She's going to see a musical with her two best friends but would like a celebration with her other friends, probably about 10 of them.

Needs to be not too expensive and not an organised activity/sport.

I suggested they come round here, pizza, film and ice cream sundaes. Or we have a dessert lounge type place near us.

Any other suggestions please? And also what do you do about younger siblunts, let them join in or not?

13th was my best birthday Grin I had a James bond themed party at home.

Spy costumes or bond girl dresses and suits
Roulette and poker with plastic chips and whoever had the most at the end of the evening had a small prize
"Cocktails" (lemonade, fruit juice and food colouring)
CD of bond theme tunes playing in the background
Bond movie if time?

We thought we were being so sophisticated Wink

My brother was 10 at the time, he was involved in spinning the roulette wheel and collecting bets, but I wouldn't have wanted him to be actually part of the party iyswim? Maybe different if age group is less e.g. 13 and nearly 12

Sounds fab, not sure if dd would like a theme.

When is her birthday? DD had a camping sleepover for her 13th last March, friend did the same for her 14th in September.

More January friendly - another friend had a 'murder mystery evening' with one of those boxed mystery games (this sort of thing if you've never done one). They had a great time, and friend's little sister also joined in, she's only a couple of years younger though.

(You can get them pretty cheap on ebay I think btw - her mum's a friend of mine, & mentioned they were easily found, but that she had to be a bit choosy to make sure it was suitable for younger teens. There is a site that does instant download ones more suited to teens!)
