Shisha pens?

Can anyone please give me information on shisha pens? Are they harmful, do they have nicotine in them and can you smoke cannabis through them? I've suspected that my 14 yr old ds has been having the odd cigarette and states that all his friends have shisha pens- as a non smoker, I don't have a clue!

A shisha pen is just an e cigarette. Liquid can have nicotine, but need not have. Some types are used for smoking dope, but not all can be.

Speak to your ds, better for his health to be using an ecig rather than smoking cigarettes.

Thanks letmetalk, I'm thinking if he's already smoking it might not be a bad idea however I wouldn't want to promote it- dilemma!

The stuff my lad used to put in his was a flavoured liquid that did not contain nicotine. You can not use it to smoke pot as there is no where to put material.
My concern was that it held like a cigarette and that could encourage him to smoke. The novelty of the pen wore off very quickly and it has been sat on the side gathering dust for over a year. He is now 16 and doesn't smoke. I hope that helps a little.

heyho111 - you can get attachments very easily and cheaply so you can use them to smoke weed.

You can't. it's only liquid THC and it doesn't get you high, just tastes like weed.
mine is apple flavour and its gorgeous, and has no nicotine.

Why use liquid THC? Why not just use 0% e liquid then? Isn't THC the active bit of cannabis?

If they are going to smoke weed or cigarettes they will. The pen won't make it easier to do it especially if you have to buy attachments. They can make a bong out of an empty coke can much more easily and cheaply. My concern was using the pen would make them feel cool and lead to smoking to be cool.
