Noticed today when DS 13 got out of the car at school today that he had the waistline of his school trousers just below the widest part of his bottom and bright pink boxers on. Why does he insist on dressing like this ?

Ah yes. nods knowingly

Soon he will progress to wearing a onesie.

Also, socks that don't match.

Watch out for girls skirts worn over his trousers during times of extended jollity too! Grin

Mine's grown out of doing that (well, for the moment) but it seems to be the current fashion to wear white sports socks with school uniformHmm

Yes, got one here too. I have told him that it looks as if he's filled his nappy!

However he isn't as bad as the chap I saw recently who had his trousers slung so low that when he ran for the bus they fell down!!

oh chocoluvva, I thought only I had my son, he was sent home for wearing a skirt, he thought it was soooooo unfair.

Mind you the odd socks is great, I dont have to match them and holey ones go in the bin with no worries

My ds's trouser foible is to wear tracksuit bottoms underneath. He is very slight so has issues with trousers falling off. This should mean in theory that he's highly fashionable with the showing off your boxers look, but in fact he hates it.

dd is the non sock matcher, and steals everyone else socks to achieve the look Hmm

Ds has always worn non matching socks but not for a fashion statement. Its just impossible to find a matching pair in this house as nobody can be arsed to pair them, so we all wear whatever comes to hand.
