Self help group

I have recently had conversations with a number of people which lead me to think that a ‘self-help group’ for parents with teenage children might be a useful thing to start. I am not necessarily thinking of parents whose children have special needs but of anyone whose children are going through the traumas of adolescence. Does anyone know of such a group? Is it something that people would find helpful?
