Proud boast alert

I am so proud of 14 year old ds. His end of key stage level was predicted as being 6a. He's just had his English SATS result and he got 8a. We're all a bit stunned, ds included, but so impressed. Just wanted to share .

I know. English was not his strongest subject, he's more into maths/science so I would have been happy for him to get his predicted level. It's especially good as he was originally streamed into set 2 but, off his own back, he spoke to his teacher and convinced her to let him join set 1. She, and we, told him that he would have to work hard to maintain his place. He obviously took the advice on board. So, so proud.
