DS is nearly 13 and has a chest like this
Over the years it hasn't really caused any problems, his breathing is good and he is happy doing topless stuff- I'm watching him diving ATM.
He's starting a new school in September and I was wondering whether I should prepare him? And what if anything I should do.

Hi Wish. I don't have any experience of your ds's particular condition but wanted to bump the thread and also thought you might get more feedback about this sort of issue if you also post this on the Needs forum?. They're very lovely over there :)

A boyfriend of mine had this too - not a problem for his health of breathing either, and it as never a problem at school as he was only topless for a short time while changing and would just pick a spot facing the wall in the changing room. It might be more noticable if he's going to a school where they go swimming.
If anyone does notice and asks, make sure he can answer the 'what is it?' question without shyness. (If it helps, though unlikely to be a useful tip for a primary age DC yet, my boyfriend's 'dip' was the perfect size to rest my hand in on his chest when we were snuggled).

Thank you do much. It doesn't bother him, but I'll check in with him and make sure school is prepared.
