He stayed at a friend's house last night and they went to a party. I got a phone call from the friend's mum at about 11:30pm asking me to pick up a paralytic ds1 (16).
He'd thrown up 3 times and couldn't walk or talk. We put him to bed and dh and I took it in turns to watch him last night.
Needless to say that ds1 feels bloody awful today. He hurts where he fell over, he's had to clean his bedroom and his head is banging. We also made him buy flowers and go and say sorry and thankyou to his friend's mum.
I was only like this once. When ds1 was 2 he was staying at his Dad's. It was Christmas eve and I was so depressed that I wouldn't see him on Christmas morning I went out and got slaughtered. Luckily my brother took me home, put me to bed and posted my keys. He then rang my parents and told them I wouldn't be staying at theirs as originally planned. Thank you lovely, lovely brother.
I could still walk and talk though. I was just very sick.
My ds still isn't well. He's not eaten today and he's tired. I've told him he needs to go to the doctors. There must be something wrong. I'm off work with a chest infection this week has not been good!!
Ewww to carrying round the dirty crockery but its better than collapsing I suppose. Ds1 was still rough on Tuesday but trying to hide it. I think the more he thought about it the more embarrassed he was. Good!
He's tucked up In bed now. I've told him I'll take him some ready brek in the morning. It does go against my principles he's 18 he should be able to fend for himself but I'd rather do that than an emergency rush to a & e.
I had a phone call when DS2 was 15 from his friend's mother at her son's party in a church hall. It was 7.30pm. The party started at 7.30pm. My DS had arrived legless, curled up on a sofa and went to sleep while she rang me. I went to pick him up, 2 girls helped him across the dancefloor and into the car and he giggled all the way home and ate 2 pizzas and then slept for 14 hours!! (This was supposed to be my girls night in with DD!!)
My ds threw asda chicken tikka masala up all over his bedroom. I had to replace his duvet. He said if he'd knew that was all he had to do the would have done it sooner . Now he's 18 I worry more than when he was a toddler.
