Net nanny needed for Ubuntu (linux)

DS has, with permission, converted my old laptop to run on Ubuntu. We've previously used Safe eyes to try to ensure safety, and now want something that will run on Ubuntu- does anyone have any suggestions please?

wasn't really sure where to post this, but as he is almost a teen thought this might be appropriate!

Thanks

I'm looking at same issue but for our six year old girl, I will post when I have installed it

I suspect if your son can re-furb the laptop, partition it and run ubuntu he may be able to bypass netnanny but might benefit from some honest conversations about internet use
